| Description |
Built in the 18th century by order of Louis XIV, the Haras National du Pin is today the oldest of the 19 stud farms. There are 30 stallions of 10 different breeds used for breeding. Every Thursday from June to September at 3 p.m. there is a show featuring stallions and horse-teams. A new show is current in preparation. Additional summer shows on Tuesday 24th, 31st July, and 7th , 14th August at 3 p.m.
NEW : a museographic area. This area will feature in-depth displays on the world of the horse. |

Open from 1st october 2006 to 31 march 2007, from 2 to 5 PM and during holidays : 10 to 12 AM and 2 to 5 PM (visit of the castle on thursday PM). From 1st April to 30 September 2007 open all day from 10 am to 6 pm.
Schedules : Départ de visite guidée toutes les 30 minutes en haute saison. Se présenter 1 heure avant la fermeture.
