A quality tourism destination
- Normandy’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Regions and the Normandy Region have been supporting Normandie Qualité Tourisme since 2001, as a first step towards local quality recognised by the government as part of Quality Tourism plan (Plan Qualité Tourisme™).
- Establishments sign up voluntarily in order to optimize their facilities and to be identified by customers. They benefit from personal support from their Chamber of Commerce.
- Normandy Regional Tourist Board coordinates the scheme and organises the promotion of approved establishments with the Departmental Tourist Boards and Tourist Offices.
Our commitments
Establishments must satisfy the legal obligations of their industry, particularly in terms of hygiene, safety and accessibility for the disabled persons.
Establishments are awarded once they have received a minimum score of 85% after an incognito inspection carried out by an independent company (which has to be renewed within five years).
Establishments are are continuously checked through customer satisfaction surveys available on this website.
